Sheet Metal Forming is a process where pieces of sheet metal are modified to its geometry rather than removing any materials. The applied process generates a force that stresses the material to deform. This in turn gives the possibility to bend or stretch the sheet to a variety of complex shapes. Bending is a manufacturing process that produces a V-shape, U-shape, or channel shape along a straight axis in ductile materials, most commonly sheet metal. Commonly used equipment include box and pan brakes, brake presses, and other specialized machine presses. Cutting is a process which cuts metal without the formation of chips or the use of burning or melting. Shreeson Technologies supports its clients in all of the three processes.
